Random post of the week 2

Hihi! wecome to the second edition of the random post of the week!
Today's post is brought to you by the letter: Dubya.

What is dubya? Some of you who surf the net looking for American political gaffes might have seen the phrase "dubya" and havent bothered to google the term, or worse, like me, you googled and you got a wiki page of Geroge W. Bush, With no reference to the word "dubya" at all.

According to one of the entries in urbandictionary, "dubya" is how rural americans pronounce their "w"s this includes George W. Bush himself. 'nuff said.

There are rumors of George and Laura Bush regulary editing their Wiki pages so that they dont look that bad, and if its true, it certainly explains the lack of the term "dubya" in the wiki page itself

but enough about the past here's a recent event.

shocking. Its amazing what how the security forces fail. I can finally understand how 911 happened. Let me get something straight. I dont love dubya, but i think other than the fact that he has made some pretty bad decitions, he's a nice guy, really, just has a lousy train of thought. but i mean, come on! you're goanna let your president get a couple of shoes thrown at him? ridiculous.

but on something lighter, here's a nice parody of the incident
Photobucket

EDIT: the .gif file seems to be shortened. need to find some other file host

I dont remember what show the "shoe assasin" came from, but i reckon its either Stephen Chow's movie, or one of the Austin Powers series (should be austin powers, now that i think about it... all of stephen chow's movies involving stupid things like throwing shoes are quite a while ago, and the quality of the film from the clip seems rather good, and more recent). it all adds up to something priceless.

so enjoy the rest of this week in the comfort that the US has security forces that allow thier president to get assaulted. Good luck, Obama.

ChaKLa Project update!

ChaKLa Project done! we did not take photos of the construction process, but harri did most of the work and we're richer by 25 dollars! yay us! The shop where we got our parts were though cookies, didn't give much discounts at all, took one hour of bargaining to maximise our profit for four dollars! seriously, that was bullshit.

Here's the nearly completed product:

here's the product upon completion

here's a nicer look at the side window, which, although we had great plans, came out like this:

So, here's an anti-scam tip for patrons to look out for when buying computer parts, so that you can learn from our mistakes (or successes).

Tip: Don't keep relying on your research
we screwed this one up big time. we decided to get everything from one shop (higher chances of getting a bargain)
and to our pleasant surprise, the graphics card that we wanted was cheaper than it used to be! we went into the shop, ordered for it, and guess what? they don't have stock. brilliant. what they have was another graphics card, that had the same properties (better brand) at "the same price" bull. it was more expensive by 11 dollars. Its just a wild guess, but we think that they were using the cheap prices to "lure" us into the shop.

So now, we unveil ChaKLa Project 2!this involves: neon lighting for the side window, and to put wireless in one of the computers in his house, so that there's two internet-able coms there.

Random Post of the Week 1+ ChaKLa project update!

Right, here's the very first edition of our random post of the week! we're basically goanna do random stuffs here in a pathetic bid to gain more popularity among them famous blogs. This aint like the previous RPOTW in the class blog where i actually had topics. This time, when i say random, i really mean random. so, here ya go.

plus, its really about my random rants and whatsoever.

cheeseburger.

Aint it awesome? Its delicious, and its a portion of one of the very first netspeak i loved. "i can has cheeseburger?" is what started it. In Mc'Ds they have it with pickles, cheese(duh) buns, some random meat-like meaty beef-like i have no idea wth it is, tomato sauce, and some other stuff that i wont mention cus i dont really know what goes in there.

there ya go! i told you it'll be random.

and now, for work-ralated stuffs

ChaKLa, your PC will be on the works this week. I'm thinking i can print instead of paint on the window, but that'll be for later. Deposit will be 400 dollars. that's all for now.

Customer No.1! And boy are we excited!

Hihi! This is the first custom project we've been paid to do! Awesome ain't it? In order to keep up a higher standard than the notorious Del*, we have decided to not use cheapo stuff and give our customer (whom I'll call ChaKLa in order to keep his identity secret among those who know him) more value for money, and so, its goanna cost 700, which is his maximum quoted price. Here's its specs for you computer geeks out there

Casing: Cooler Master 333 with side window
Powersupply: 460W cooler master extreeme power
Processor: Dual Core E2200 2.2G
Motherboard: XFX nForce 610I G7050

RAM: Kingston PC6400 800 Mhz 2GB
Hard Disk Drive: Seagate SATA2 250 GB
Optical Drive: 16X Sony DVD Rom

Operating System: Vista Home Premium/ XP home Full Version

Vista Home premium, although not requested, is highly recomended for ChaKLa.

Okay, We might not get the version with the side casing for ChaKLa, cus we don't know if its available, but if there is, we're goanna spice up the window with a painted-on picture of his choice (acrylic paint) FOC.

Total Cost: $700
Our personal profit: less than $25 PER person
Time Spent: about 1 hour of research, followed by 3 hours of playing "fatal frame" cus we wanted to piss in our pants.

1st post

Hihi! welcome to HairyZinc! As you all might know, hair is the thing that grows on your body, and sometimes at embarrasing places. These are essential as they can trap heat and also sometimes are used for trapping prespiration, like our eyebrows, for example.

Zinc, on the other hand, is a rather reactive metal (6th most reactive in reactivity table) which is sometimes used to galvanise iron, to prevent rusting as a form of sacrificial protection and also can be used in drycells, due to its reactivity.

Add them together, and you get a blog! This blog is written by two people, known as Harri and Tzyinc, Harri-ZYinc, hairyzinc. geddit? We specialise in basically simple hardware electronics, though if you come back in a few years, we might get diplomas and are able to solve software problems. Oh, and we also sell custom computers, price ranging from 700 upwards, and we gurantee, NO CHEAP STUFF (we're not de*l, ya know?)
